Karl Blau’s Slow Children is perpetual Karl Blau. It’s eclectic, it’s cuddly, it’s gnostic, it’s surreal, and ever-green – the song just is a myriad of great noises, produce to fanciful musical experience.
We at CHF have been very up front about us loving songs and artists that are ‘odd’ in their presentation of their bodies of work (i.e. Tasseomancy, etc). We just love it. Might be something to do with us not being limited in playing musical instruments, but productions like Slow Children, makes us ponder.
Sometimes, making us ‘ponder’, could be a dangerous thing. But in this case, one should cheer that we heard, listened, pondered, and loved this song from Blau.
We think you’d like it too, for its rich tapestry of sounds, on layers of sounds.
Karl is signed to Bella Union.
He’s currently on tour promotin’, stylin’, and profilin’ in Europe.
