LAS AVES comes back with this visibly textured single named ‘Worth It’. And as usual, the trio from Paris, delights their listeners with alt-pop significance that more and more should be exposed to.
We’d first got to know LAS AVES wit their single ‘Anti-star’. Then our ear drums were sumptuously thrilled with their single ‘A Change Of Heart’.
We professed: “Parisian trio, LAS AVES, is unique, succulent, forward thinking…beautifully done vocal hooks? Check. Astonishingly balladic thrust? Check. Delightful tongue-in-cheek story telling? Check. Expert delivery of common ground emotions? Triple check.
“Describing the angst and stresses of modern existence for a set category of the population, LAS AVES, crafts music of significant heft and meaning. The pop group pulls from all corners of the musical premise and suggests moments of glory and detriment for a lot of the world and our footprint within it.”
‘Worth It’ is none different.
And as the song’s grip, deepens into your biased soul, you converge like the Matrix of imaginations and soar in to a blissful dance.
Of mind. Of heart.
Of practical exuberance.
Front woman, Géraldine Baux stated: “It’s an important song for me, it’s what I would’ve liked to hear in my teenage years. I have suffered from eating disorders for a very long time, and that is still more or less the case. I felt very lonely; I was a victim of my body that didn’t fit the “norm:”. I felt like I could never do anything in my life until I could control it. It’s a disease, a potentially devastating one, and what’s serious is that this illness is provoked and/or reinforced by the society we live in, by the constant pressure on women’s bodies. This song is about freeing yourself from it, and taking your power back.”
LAS AVES is a very special group of artists and talents.
