Lauren Lakis ‘We’ll Be Fine’ : Let’s celebrate through song, and well wishing. And to a betterment sought and fully implemented.

Lauren Lakis

“As we’ve gone through this pandemic, it’s become a sort of love song to humanity, a ballad of hope,” stated Lauren Lakis. “We’ve been given a unique opportunity to pause and go inward, where shadow exists alongside light. There is fear and grief and uncertainty, but ultimately I have faith that we will be fine, maybe better than “fine” if we choose.”

Following the release of her critically acclaimed debut full-length ‘Ferocious’, in 2018, Lauren delivered audiences the highly anticipated ‘Sad Girl Breakfast’. Both records were produced by Billy Burke (REL, Luna Lovebad) with additional engineering by Grammy-winning mixer Chris Kasych (Adele, Deftones, Phantogram, HAIM).

Both releases have gone on to garner radio airplay on 40+ stations nationwide, and placement on 65+ Spotify playlists. Lakis has also licensed tracks to Dating Painsand The Drunch.

‘We’ll Be Fine’ is an offspring of what has been a year of challenges, disasters, tragedies, and mis-givings in our institutional existence. A widening of our eyes, both figurative and literal, the world’s gears, will be asked to work differently as mother nature has put the pressure once again squarely to her children.

Lauren Lakis has confidence that we will pull through, and be better.

Hope so.

Let’s celebrate through song, and well wishing. And to a betterment sought and fully implemented.

✨✨WE’LL BE FINE✨✨the first single from DAUGHTER LANGUAGE is now available everywhere music is streamed/sold✨✨the original inspiration vs what it means to me as 2020 has unfolded are vastly different…it’s become a love song for humanity, a ballad of hope. We’ve been given a unique opportunity to pause and travel inward, where the shadows dwell. There is fear and grief and uncertainty, but I have faith that we will be fine, maybe better than “fine”, if we so choose 🤍 . . . . . Thank you @gooeymusicproductions @creeksta @seahorsesound @thatsmydrummah @nextemissary @midvvinter666 @catalystkaye for your help in making this track w/ me.
