Lo Artiz ‘Kick Back’ : Canvas made of love, lust, passion, future delight.

Lo Artiz

This track is the first song off of Lo’s EP ‘Wild Woman’ set to release January 24, 2020. Written and produced by Lo, it is a song about being a boss lady by day and a wild woman by night.

“It’s about desiring a no-strings attached kind of relationship because you’re already in a committed one & it is to yourself. It’s for the independent goal-getting women who aren’t willing to compromise themselves for anyone but still like to have their fun when the work is done. With Lo’s vocal production almost paying homage to D’Angelo, & a bridge section that will make you feel like time & space are an illusion, this track is fun, sexy, and will take you on an atmospheric journey that you won’t want to miss.”

Lo Artiz is an independent artist born & raised in Miami, FL currently based in Los Angeles, CA. Rooted in Soul, her music seeks to disturb the comfortable and comfort the disturbed. With early influences like Aretha Franklin and Etta James, Lo desires to break through her audience’s surface and reach them at a place deeper than most modern music allows today.

“I want to shake the foundation upon which my audience stands. I want them to know they’re not alone. I want to be a voice for those who feel voiceless. I want to make people feel something they’ve never allowed themselves to feel before.”

From an early age she was enamored by the voices of Aretha Franklin, Etta James, & Christina Aguilera, influencing the soul that can instantly be felt when hearing her sing. She was raised listening to various artists thanks to her Father, who introduced her to Janis Joplin, Bob Marley, Led Zeppelin & many more.
