Lokki Gets Ready For Headline Shows In Brighton & London Following Release of ‘Cirrhi’ EP.

The wonderful work of Lokki (Drew McFarlane of Glass Animals) dropped his new EP ‘Cirrhi’. We were lost in admiration for the folk/gospel style driven ‘Breathe A Breath Of Me’.

We’d stated: “From the beautiful voice of Lokki, to the beautiful and haunting piano notes, ‘Breathe A Breath Of Me’ is a sense of fresh air, which we could not get enough of – and can’t help but still quake over.”

Yep. That’s how much we love ‘‘Breathe A Breath Of Me’.

In support of his newly dropped EP, he’s going on a mini tour, with string of festival dates including London’s Slaughtered Lamb on April 5th and another at Brighton’s White Rabbit on March 20.

“‘Breathe a Breath Of Me’ is about something we do every minute of every day. There’s a choir in the background, which creates the sense that when we breathe, the world breathes with us.”

Listen to the EP.

It’s haunting. It’s dramatic. It’s a TV series that grips you, with beautiful instrumentals. And of course, Drew’s unique vocals just fills that fabulousness quotient, to the brim.

Kudos, Drew. Kudos.
