“I’ve been stuck inside for way, way, way, too long. I need to escape,” said Loneshark. “I’m slipping into nothing while the world is burning down. What a flaming pile of shit. I wrote this in April and barely remember it, so here it is in all of it’s whatever.”
Influences include 80’s new wave pop as well as post punk, the early 2000’s reinterpretation of those genres as dancepunk, modern retro pop, Rick Rubin, John Paul Jones (naval hero, not Led Zeppelin bass player), Andy Kaufman, David Lynch, Miles Davis, The Matrix, Keanu Reeves’s performances outside of his work in The Matrix, and my hatred towards the music industry and playlist culture.
