At 16, Loryn Taggart moved to Toronto (now in Montreal) to pursue the life in music she’d desires. And like the heart of a lioness, her works come about with subtleties that profound; in the same breath, her works can deliver a knock out punch to the solar plexus, raising your heart-rate in anticipation and warmth.
It’s a work that defines time. Loryn’s time, in absolution. A glitter of unsubstantiated happiness; of utter devastation. A work of art, as artful and powerful as the waves that crest onto the bedrock shores.
As artful and delightful, as the prettiest daisies in your mid-day stroll, within the rays of a mid-day sunshine.
‘The River’ is an acoustic vibe, resonating in the notion of strength. The full bodied effervescence of dutiful dedication and belief, comes flowing through her beckoning and inquisitive vocals.
The river is wide and fast. The river is the the only thing that is in the way. Will our protagonist defy logic and win the day? Only you can determine that ending.
Her music is grand, packed in the daintiest wrapped gifts. All full of hopes, heartaches, and the inevitable and intimate triumphs.
We’re lucky to have her sing for our silent expressions.
Loryn is working on her debut full length album set to be released by spring of 2021.
