Lou Moss ‘Strawberry Woman’ : Asserts originality and defiance, in the most charming of sorts.

Lou Moss

Off of the LP ‘Praline Lad’, the teen-spirit indie vibe, Lou Moss, makes bedroom pop that is of weighted preponderance. A decadent, tongue-in-cheek shimmer that juts out like spear-heads upon a field of pastel petals of pink and gold.

“Strawberry sunshine, corduroy dreams, this song is more about imagery and perception than anything concrete. She’s a strawberry woman, it’s something no one can deny. But she isn’t my woman no more than she wasn’t my lie.”

Lyrics are uncanny, and it brings all of the focused effort by Lou, to get the creative juices you’d wanted from your listening self. A Beatles-like ambience, that asserts originality and defiance, in the most charming of sorts.
