Fluid beckoning is where Matthew Barton’s ‘A Peaceful Killing’ lives. With poem by Darius Shu, it follows Barton’s recent EP, ‘QUEEN OF ENGLAND’.
‘A Peaceful Killing’ is taken from the motion picture short ‘I AM NORMAN’ by filmmakers Arron Blake and Darius Shu. Their previous collaboration, “HIS HANDS,” was released to acclaim in 2019 and nominated for Best Narrative Short at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Saddened no more, the protagonist lives with the life within his sleeves of mind and emotive confidence.
A road to take, when the only way to truly live, is to die and be reborn.
