May 3, 4, 5, 6: MUTEK Announces First Wave Details for San Francisco Festival.

Kinda cool, ain’t it? MUTEK originated in Montreal, distributing the unique curation of sounds to its fans world wide, now it can’t wait to gather in San Francisco – the festival’s first activation in the United States.

The unique electronic music festival will present works by musicians from the Bay Area and around the world at 9 venues across the city, including Bimbo’s, Gray Area Grand Theatre, Herbst Theatre, Heron Arts, the San Francisco Mint, Mezzanine, The Midway, and more.

The festival is more than an electro festival, but a traveling community for art and art-sake, including: electronic music performances, art installations, audiovisual works, panel discussions, food vendors, and more, adding up to a mind-bendingly eclectic yet cohesive experience for fans in the U.S.

Seems the front office at MUTEK is very excited for MUTEK S.F. And they should be.

Summer, MUTEK, San Francisco, and the Bay??

Heck yea.
