Me Not You Shares ‘Imagine That’. Song About Hope And Encouragement.

According to some sources, the estimated number of school shooting incidents start from about 90 to a whopping near 300 (since 2009). All depends on what factors and criteria the survey/study adds or omits, but from the reporting in 2018, there hasn’t been an estimate that is significantly less. Yes, there are other countries with arguably similar number of incidences. However, that isn’t the core issue, for we are citizens of the United States and need to say that we have far too many maiming and deaths in schools (primary, HS, college).

To that disheartening discussion, ME NOT YOU’s single ‘Imagine That’ was inspired by the incident at Santa Fe High School in Texas. There were a total of 10 teachers and students who were killed in that mass shooting.

This is a song about hope and encouragement. It’s what ‘should be’ in an environment selected and designated for learning. Without stress from possible bodily harm, without stress from a gunman.

‘Imagine That’ is the first single from the upcoming full length album, slated for release sometime this Autumn. ME NOT YOU will donate 100% of the sales from this single for March For Our Lives.
