Mirage Club Trio Kick Off The Year With Melancholic ‘Horizontal’. The French trio Mirage Club piqued our curiosity last year with their single ‘Tropical Z’.

Mirage Club brings 70’s and 90s vibes in this single with a wistful and melancholic song. Mixing influences from Phoenix to Tame Impala and 10CC, it combines playful melodies, electronic synths and raw bass-line, to the right effects.

The band stated: “Music has always offered itself as a window to freedom and satisfaction. It makes time run much faster than it usually does too. In this mixed-up century where evolution tends to overwhelm us, the three of us embarked on a journey towards a Cartesian-driven disco where words become meaningful.”

‘Midnight Sun’ premiered on BBC Radio 6 on Lauren Laverne’s radio-show.

The full EP is on the way and is planned to be out soon.
