Rambling on that forest brook, of charming discontent and mellow dramatic sins – apart from the cadence of life and love, and everything in between. Trivial nastiness, ruckus of rustling trees – like edge of fall, not quite. Your voice gives me shivers in daylight prognostications – mumbling, enthralled, caressing, pain.
Delight in the facts of light on creatures under rocks. They expose, exposing truth, revealed to private personages. It is impersonal. It is not what was intended.
Why did you go. Why did you say goodbye.
I know why.
But I can’t confess.
The truth will die with me.
Moaning delivers a visual accompaniment to their single ‘Misheard’ and it gives all of us another chance to seek out the fab song. Well, another excuse, to be frank. The day-dream / dream-pop atmosphere of the single is what we love, and the emotive vocals highlight the hurt or angst, we can surely relate.
The band is on an extensive European tour, but will be coming to the U.S. starting with a swing at Brooklyn’s Elsewhere, June 21.
