“This song is about that hopeless feeling at the end of a tumultuous relationship which only possible ending could ever be in flames,” said Morale. “We decided to write it as if the storyteller was raising their bloody head off the steering wheel of a wrecked car as the song kicks off. A metaphorical head on collision followed by the deluded hope of wanting to try and fix it but deep down knowing it is too far gone.. The chorus hits at 35 seconds and it’s where the songs really takes off.”
UK based Morale is a three piece Alternative Rock band formed by life long friends Simon Harvey (Vocals, Guitar), Josh Manley (Bass) and Toby Lane (Drums). And the trio delivers succinct rock that gets you going and then some.
Since launching with their debut single in early 2018, they have been making waves in the Alt Rock scene, surpassing 700,000 streams on Spotify and being featured on BBC Introducing and KERRANG! ‘Fresh Blood.’
Singles, including ‘Embers’, follow their debut EP ‘Left for Dead’. The sophistication of rock and pop, grind into new and exciting terraces of music for the band. As ‘Embers’ adds to their lore, the experience is great for both audience and the talented trio.
