This is how the story of that fateful day started. And it started with me waking up to the horrid sound of crowing birds, next to my bedroom window. They startled me in the effort to break my restful sleep, in order to watch and glean over the dark and gloom of the city below the complex.
I opened up the curtains to reveal no sun. I then opened up my heart, but there was no beating to be felt.
I made breakfast, after washing up, with a little coffee and some eggs on toast. The sunny-side up yolks of the unfertilized deliciousness, travelled through my hungry nerves of my guts.
With a slight recognition of satisfaction, I mustered up the strength to get up and get ready to walk out that door.
“Where are you? I miss you.”
I couldn’t walk out of this gloomy prison I’d forged for myself. For I hadn’t gotten over her.
I closed the curtain again, and set the crowing alarm clock, in the hopes of trying to break the cycle, the next day.
The duo from NEIL FRANCES dives head first, as usual with tasty beats and rhythmic absolutions. They are on tour with many cool places in North America, on their plate.
