Nick Wilson ‘Enough To Know You’ : “Sorrow to appreciation for what was lost.”

Nick Wilson

“’Enough To Know You’ is about being broken up with, but realising that the time you spent with them is worth more than the bitterness and resentment of hating them for it,” said Nick Wilson. “At its heart, it’s a song about letting go. To me there’s just something both heart-breaking and heart-warming about that moment of clarity in moving on and being okay with it. It’s the hardest thing in the world to come to terms with the fact that someone no longer wants you, but sometimes, being able to have shared a part of your life with that person is enough to let them go.”

A 25-year-old artist from Buckinghamshire, Nick’s sound hints at elements of Noah Gundersen’s raw intimacy, the mournful laments of early Bon Iver and LANY’s flair for melody. He’s earned countless international New Music Friday playlists on Spotify and has toured with Gabrielle Aplin and Dotan.

‘Enough To Know You’ is a spellbinding confessional which tackles the whirlwind of emotions that follow an unexpected break-up. Supported by sensitively deployed acoustic guitar and piano, Nick’s open-hearted and tender vocals capture a rush of feelings.

From shock to sorrow to appreciation for what was lost, it’s a confessional that can resonate across the board. Nick wrote the song with producer Matt Zara.
