An example of exemplary markups and poignant majesty, Night Flight does it again with single ‘David’. With an announcement of their new upcoming Ep ‘White Noise’ (February 28th, 2020), the indelibly existential indie band, gathers up forces once more for a grand trip around our sensibilities.
The London based band Night Flight follows up their widely praised self-titled debut released in 2018, with a song that individually explore the nuances in specific pockets of life; where exploring disillusionment, isolation and self-reflection culminates in a roiling turmoil of personal recovery.
Night Flight is the embodiment of a musical vessel where bandmates Sam Holmes, Dan Webb, Harry Phillips and Oliver Halvorsen construct beauty out of thin air and delivers time and again, in top shelf professions in love and extremes of the heart.
Sam described the track as: “A mourning of love through second-hand news. The conversations shared with a forgotten friend in the strange aftermath of a relationship wherein perpetuity ends.”
Life is funny. In tragedy and in hilarity. Irony coaxed in between the pure devastations; sometimes seemingly meandering aimlessly, targets of pot-marked profound-ness emerges to cease at our hearts.
And sometimes, we’re not prepared enough for the fallout.
Guess that’s what living is about.
And there, Night Flight, captures with deep intent and understanding, voluptuously communicating the angst to our hesitant listening ears.
Listen more to Night Flight. You won’t regret it.
See them next @ The Drawingroom music venue, Chestham UK on December 7th.
