Nutrients is a 5-person group from Toronto that likes to play short, jangly songs. Nuff said. Drop the mic. And when they talk through their ‘mic’ of feelz and emotions, the only thing to vibe is the nostalgic past of your younger self and all of the dreams that bloomed.

Have those dreams gone to dust? Have they been filed into that cabinet of your mind, along with that special pie recipe?

Nope. You haven’t. Your brain hasn’t. Your heart never forgot.

The band began as a recording project in a basement deep below Boulevard St-Laurent in Montreal. Years of focusing on a grungier project had allowed vocalist Taylor Teeple to accumulate a stockpile of breezy, softly-sung songs; evolving from its bedroom pop roots in 2017.

Now. In 2019. They continue to tickle your fancy, with witty lyrics, tongue-in-cheek altruism, and sad but happy hymns for your forever infinite youthful self.

‘Always In Bloom’ is a breezy indie rock / dream-pop track that’s been paired with a collection of clips of the band at a cottage they visited while writing the album.

The band stated: “You can listen to it on their site and watch a video of us hanging around at a lake. This song will be released for your listening pleasure… along with the rest of our new album.”

Indeed, gang. Indeed.

Feel the Nutrients’ vibe. It’ll do your body good.
