Pet Shark – Windows Down

“We started this band because we wanted to tell our stories about mental health. This song was brought on by a common discomfort that we share, and it is inspired by the dream to not let that discomfort dictate the decisions we make in our lives.” Paul Watson, Kalina Myers, Cameron Murphy, and Andy Hall lovingly craft songs like ‘Windows Down’ to smash up the reality of your head. Sensible? No. Shoegazy fab? Yes. Their sense of humor? Off the charts. “An amateur hockey player, a goth, a northeast hardcore legend, and a guy who only listens to funk walk into a bar. Thanks so much for coming out to the show last night! We had a fantastic time. Thanks so much to @mollycoma for having us on the show. She’s putting an EP out. It slaps. Like, y’all thought Tampa Bay had the best slaps with that Kucherov + Stamkos combo. You’re wrong.” Understood? That’s okay. Just listen to ‘Windows Down’ and just bop like it feels.

Machine Age – If Only

Adrian Mauro and Dylan Stewart are MACHINE AGE. ‘If Only’ is a track that is reminiscent of the craft that was demonstrated by MUSE. Romantic, moving, dramatic, and gives you that ‘crunch’ in your chest area. And when you find out that the beginnings of the song is when Adrian was 15 years old, he lost his 17 year old brother to leukemia and inherited his older brothers guitar, keyboard and record collection. This was the beginning of Adrian as a musician, and as Machine Age. What a story eh? A passing of mentality, and sentimental promises to a loved one – virtually and now in reality. The exuberant drive of the song is even further capped by the amazing vocals and the articulate lyrics. Description in poetic and poignant moods of words to emotion, lasts and makes a definitive mark.

Cheshy – Free

‘FREE’ is the second disco single from Los Angeles-based, CHESHY. This track draws inspiration from the melodic structure and lyrical delivery of Donna Summer, Minnie Ripperton and The Three Degrees. FREE was co-written by Cheshy, Jackie’s Boy and Prince Chapelle, featuring production by Kevin Bayly. Chelsea (Cheshy) Reynolds is this latest project, the classically trained vocalist and songwriter makes a mark that is distinctively pop and launches your dancing vibes. Her unique vocals are of Galactic vibes, as every vibrations from her waves of emotions cling to your honesty about your own life.

Reno Royale – The Moment I Go

“This song was a collaborative (studio) endeavor that took almost a year and a half to make. Every person involved is either a session musician or audio engineer and are spread across the east coast but mostly Chicago IL and Charlottesville VA.” Pop folk never sounds as gentile and salient as it’s handled by the band RENO ROYALE. From fiddle to the picks of the host of stringed instruments, the arrangement of ‘The Moment I Go’ lights up the fairytale of your childhood or of your adulthood, which had been left behind and been a bit dusty. Through this single those moments of wonder, start again – with vivid energy and again the confidence to face the world as you’d like. With delicious vocals and harmonies upon harmonies, the song crests into an overwhelming tide, crashing into a beautiful dance with the love of your life.

Chasing Illusions – With You

“‘With You’ is an atmospheric love ballad featuring 80’s influenced synths, driving rhythm, a hooky guitar line, & ambient yet laid back vocals. The synthesizers setup a dreamy soundscape for the melodic guitar & crooner style vocals. The bass and drums provide a pulsing rhythm that is danceable yet relaxing.” Dawson Wayne, with lead guitarist Braden Bessel, Bassist Kyle Novak, and drummer Graham Barbier, CHASING ILLUSIONS keeps it vibrant in their own calculated bed-room pop way, and then some.
