Lift up her skirt, for the view of a life-time, that’s what you thought from a grammar school playground exposition. Those days of unadulterated, no guilt pasteurization, in feelings and in actions, do not exist in you any longer. You were silly. Your class mates were silly. The girls you liked, you said you hated, but really did like.
The chuckle and glimpses, from passing interests in high-school, gave you heart and joy. The girls noticed you now, in good times and in weird times. The Universe of being, existed in a bubble, unperturbed, and sanctified by the brilliant light rays of glory. Your class mates were silly. The girls you liked, you said you hated, but really did like.
Your face is red, with a slap on the cheeks, from the girl you liked, who was your better half, but not any longer.
Time is over.
PHAINOPEPLA is a solo project of Jake Morris. And from the sound of it on this particular single ‘FMUD’, lots of things are going through his head. And it’s plainly obvious to ‘see’ the kaleidoscope of stresses and behemoth worries, about that girl, or something to that effect. It’s enlightening, really.
His new album, ‘How To Remove A Bee Stinger’ will be available June 15th.
