PIWA ‘Hundreds’ (Prod. by nïko) : Tight, succinct, and flavorful. Atmospherically decadent.

Look for more from the talented artist.

Dallas originating, Chicago based r&b/hiphop singer/songwriter/rapper, PIWA, is distinct in every way. The single ‘Hundreds’ is tight, succinct, and flavorful. Every note seems to be efficient in the story telling, as PIWA’s atmospherically decadent vocals, continue engaged and boppin’.

PIWA began her journey as a singer/Producer at the age of 15. Then on, deciding that she wanted to create music as a career, she began working on her own singles and uploading them on Soundcloud for friends and family to hear.

In the summer of 2017, then known as TAPIWA, was flown out to California by directors of The Voice in order for her to audition, she also had the opportunity to be on Adam Levine and Miley Cyrus’ team on The Voice Snapchat. TAPIWA finishes off as a Semi-finalist for the TV Snapchat series, which was a bitter-sweet moment for her, but it’s just the beginning for this little girl with the big voice.

Big voice? Indeed. And as PIWA drives with all of her might, the horizon full of new opportunities are guaranteed.

We’re surely looking forward to more from PIWA and the production collab. The bleed into indie/alt r&b and hiphop is fabulous to experience.
