Possessions’ Grenade is industrial electronica, masked inside a wholesome deliciousness of gritty goodness. It doesn’t hurt that it definitely retains the soul of industrial music.
It’s too early to see how the band will end up in its nascent career, but it’s certainly promising.
We like movies and anime, and there’s just a fit for Possessions’ body of work, in that genre. But as readers of CHF know, that’s just a hypothesis, only in our weird minds.
Anywho, it’s about attitude sometimes, and it helps when such ‘tude is over-flowing in a band. The vocals is not over-oppressive, with hints of delight and airiness, which keeps one in tune with the song.
Calming, striding, maligning, presiding.
Taking a role, out of the playbook.
Out extending the fibers of life.
Lets us fold the chapter, digesting, flourishing.
The mysteries of an impending journey is what we’re writing about, and we’re sure Possessions’ crew will be loving every minute of it.
