Built around the gang of Aaron King, Michael Mackay, Shaun Alderman, and Calum Thomson, GYPSY CIRCUS offers up a big vocals rock single in’ Thin Ice’.
Stated the band: “‘Thin Ice’ was a track we came up with while intentionally trying to write a straightforward, punchy rock song. There is nothing subtle about the track, just big vocals, fast drums and loud guitars!”
The chorus takes it to the heights it needs to, as the constance of the song embellishes none of the instincts of a stadium sized attitude of the song. The classic contemporary alt-rock devisions, drizzled with the tantalizing hooks make this song a radio darling and a boost to your day.
Formed in 2017, GYPSY CIRCUS released their first EP at Post Electric Studio in Edinburgh with producer and Idlewild guitarist Rod Jones. Despite their relative infancy as a band, Gypsy Circus began to gain a reputation for their electric live performances culminating in co-headlining The Big Takeover Weekend in Shetland.
Having extensively toured in the 2 short years since they assembled, Gypsy Circus have picked up support from fans and press alike including The Scotsman, Little Indie Blogs, BBC Alba and Amazing Radio to name but a few.
See them next at Upstairs At The Drouthy, Elgin, Moray Scotland September 20th.
