PREMIERE: HAPPY CAT JAY ‘Toffee Apple’ Off Of Debut EP ‘Lost 4 Words’.

A combination of indie-pop-rock with a pinch of funk & soul comes at us through the essence of HAPPY CAT JAY’s new single ‘Toffee Apple (Lost 4 Words)’. The effervescently reminiscent groove, slides our definition of emotions, compounding complexities while simplifying the resolve for passionate independence.

The celebration is real, and to amplify HCJ’s new single and drop of debut EP ‘Lost For Words’, a release party will take place Renaissance Studios in Brixton (South London), where HCJ promises “an intimate listening party, visual installation and live performance at roof-top warehouse photography space owned by production company ‘Renaissance’.”

“Conceptually, the EP is a first-time delve into how we perceive memory as individuals, how we learn from our experiences and how we might choose to address our thoughts and emotions going forward into our futures. It’s about the power of the self and the individual strength we can channel to deal with difficult people in our lives and abusive relationships.”

On stage, HCJ will be joined by Tatyana Philips (harps, vocals, keys) and Ben Goodall (keys, saxophone, guitars, vocals) to perform a selection of tracks from the EP. Special guest JulianKnxx will be making an appearance to perform collaborative material with the producer.
