Lauren Wahl’s single ‘1 Lyfe’ is both a project of deep sympathies and of deep love. And in the interpretation of Lauren’s vision for a better world, she’s taken the inspirational work of Samuel Phanor whom as a Broward County Florida police officer, veteran and entrepreneur, delivers his vision to change the world “one life at a time’.
And hence, a collaboration of Lauren Wahl and Samuel Phanor brings music and direct efforts of humanity to the fore.
Samuel’s ‘1Lyfe’ project has a mission to create change and make a difference. It partners with various non-profits each year, and in 2019 first large undertaking was to build a sustainable water well in rural Haiti. Now that dream will be fulfilled with the construction starting, February 2020. Other missions will include human trafficking, beach clean up, veteran suicide awareness, shelter animal funding and more.
After writing the song, Lauren asked singer-songwriter Justin Hambly to get involved, who then graciously recorded, produced, mixed and mastered the song at his home in Corralitos Ca (Cider House Recording Studio). Justin also plays lead guitar and bass for the song, with Ryan Navaroli (accomplished alto sax player and fellow band member in Lauren’s band Simply Put’) laid his sax work on the track.
Any proceeds made by the song will benefit the 1Lyfe mission.
See Lauren next @ Abbott Square, Santa Cruz California on February 14th.
