PARAVEL drops their fabulously exuberant single ‘TALK’. And as the alt-rock vibes of this band from Abbotsford, BC delights your listening pleasures, the chorus of ‘TALK’ delights you in stereophonic glimpses in gumption.
Formed in May 2016 by frontman Patrick Jolicoeur, guitarist Matt Taylor, and drummer Kelton Kowalchuk, they bring simple feeling of love and recovery, into songs of anthemic resistance and resilience. A rebellious streak of gold and emotional confidence are resolute in the praises of the lyrics and of the song’s infectious excitement.
From the start, they wanted to write songs that encourage, that ask bigger questions, and that bring people together. With those ideals in mind, and influenced by bands like Switchfoot, Coldplay, U2, Mumford & Sons, One Republic, and Imagine Dragons, PARAVEL began crafting their sound. From there they’d started their own musically sound, revolution, determined by their own making and consumed in the craft of songs that can connect.
In November 2017, they took home the Fraser Valley Music Award for Best Pop Artist, and have subsequently released two singles to date, ‘FLY’, and ‘UP ABOVE IT ALL’.
See them next @ The Roxy Cabaret in Vancouver, British Columbia, January 25th.
