Private World shares ‘House Aflame’ (single)

Private World is a band from Cardiff, UK, who formed late 2017. They describe themselves as ‘new age pop, combining spiritual, futuristic new age sounds with guitar pop melodies’ & a closely ‘inspired…Roxy Music, with nods to the likes of The Replacements’. We think that is a good and proper way to describe their premiere single ‘House Aflame’ (which dropped January 26th), and of the band, for the soothing succulence of the chords and meandering of vocal’s masked turbulent subtleties, drives a wedge between two fictitious lovers’ quarrel.

The lovers subside, screams broken by the music. They listen, then start to talk.

Talking turns into remembrance. Remembrance, brings on empathy.

The band is on a recent momentum, for they’d been featured in several area online publications and a note on ‘Adam Walton’s BBC Music Introducing show tonight’. And we think there is a reason why.

We dig their musical philosophy and their output. We’re very glad we got to listen to their wares. Looking forward to more from the boys.

Kudos, PW. Kudos.

Band consists of: Tom, Harry, Cam, and Luke.
