Deleting that file from the brain, which sat at the end of the table, irked me. It wasn’t to be this way. The repeated dreams I’ve had for months now, were getting more intense and weirder. Anyway, the ‘brain’ called out to me. Which was odd because it never called out to me before. My hands, to my surprise, perspired to a level it’s never hit before. Felt like my palms were just jelly. You know, just like Jell-o pudding snacks. And the problem was that the ‘brain’ at the end of that table – a black and IKEA-like slab of a furniture – was eyeing me up and down. It was creepy. I was creeped out to the n-th degree.
The dreams continued. The ‘brain’ stayed and watched me, every night.
I wanted out. But there wasn’t any way out. At all.
Mute Swan is from Tucson and just divides up that pie of suculent psych-rock, with that gorgeous thin crust at the edges. The jam philosophy comes from their formation in 2014 until today.
The video is just HAZE. That’s about it. But it’s the song that is the TOPS.
Close your eyes and you’ll hear it. Feel it.
The airy-ness of the instrumental arrangement, balance with the heaviness and relative subjects, inferred by the lyrics and vocals.
“America is having a melt down right now. This song is about that. With fuzz.”
Oh, and don’t let that ‘brain’ follow you around. Yikes.
