PUREST comes back with ‘Waste My Days’, a blazing shoegaze decadence. The humming guitar riding single offers the excitement of PUREST’s resistance to the normal day to day in musical extravagance. The rockin’ single takes the imagination right up to the edge of the revealing cliff.
After a summer of touring with the likes of ECHO AND THE BUNNYMEN and THE LIBERTINES, the band hit the studio to make things fabulous for the days to come. And in ‘a matter of days’ they pulled out a five song EP named ‘Waste My Days’, which is available now.
Singer and leader James Rollings said of the single: “‘Waste my days’ encapsulates the feeling of the EP as a whole. It’s our most direct song, it’s yearning for acceptance in a disjointed world. We feel close but are further away.’”
PUREST will be be celebrating the new EP release in a Christmas show at The Water Rats in Kings Cross on December 6th with THE SLUMDOGS and others.
The band consists of James Rollings (Guitar/Vocals), Richard Bithrey ‘Biff’ (Guitar), and Ashley Platts (Drums), Danny Davidson (Bass).
