Purple Negative ‘Happy Once A Year’ : Effortless, and invokes charms of nostalgia that is both current and intuitively effervescent.

Purple Negative

Latvia based Purple Negative’s song ‘Happy Once A Year’ is the first single from the upcoming EP ‘Happy’ (September 11th). ‘Happy Once A Year’ is “a story about breaking the chain of boredom, fatigue and repetitive habits to come back later and find peace in them.”

Lead by Eliza Daine and completed by Roberts Gromovs, Emils Lapins and Karlis Pukis, the quartet brings the lovely and oozing essence of 90’s grunge to the fore with hard rockin’ lyrical diplomatics and couples it with the electric ambience of Eliza’s chill and angsty vocals.

Getting drawn in with the affections of ‘Happy Once A Year’ is easy, effortless, and invokes charms of nostalgia that is both current and intuitively effervescent.
