It’s been several years since her 2014 debut album ‘Cocoon’. And we’re just grateful that she’s returned with such flurry of jabs in this single ‘Cold’. It’s subtle, you have to say, but the soft touch of this single brings up the fact that small incremental touches of love can hurt, if potent and exhumed from sleep at the right time.
Love does hurt.
It can be a weapon.
It can freeze you from head to toe.
Love can kill.
QUEEN OF HEARTS is Liz Morphew and she’s been making thought provoking songs from the get-go.
Her debut album ‘Cocoon’ had garnered much accolades including top 5 charting iTunes album in various territories. Plus, the London based artist’s music had been used in many U.S. TV shows, such as Grey’s Anatomy, Jane The Virgin, Bojack Horseman, Do No Harm and Famous In Love.
And just like love, her new full-length album is being grown and nurtured to what we come to expect from QOH.
Look for more from the ‘Queen’ in new releases leading up to the album release, within 2018.
