Tour de Force. In a world of pop, RHAIN’s ‘Solid Gold’ depicts what her rapturous song writing and lyrics can morph into, and out of. The song is a glorious infatuation. It’s just like the beautiful left cheek, you’d always wanted to kiss. It’s like the beautiful look she gave you, after buying her that delicious vanilla ice-cream (on a cone) during a Summer Dusk.
RHAIN can’t be denied. We think her lyrical formations and construction is just delectable and seismic. The talent on her is just over-flowing and we’re very jealous =D
“It was a really hot day when I began the verse for this and I was thinking about the stagnant air trapped in-between the terraced houses that line our little street”, RHAIN says of the track. “’Solid Gold’ I guess is about noticing the lethargic pace of the everyday and trying to escape its clutches.”
Her 2017 debut EP ‘Oscar November Echo’ was fabulously accepted and she’s built on that momentum to come with this fabulous single. Her originality is damning. It’s damning to a certain degree where if she doesn’t win like gazillian number of awards, we won’t be able to come out of our bedrooms for a year.
The Isle Of Wight native is a force to be reckoned with and we state it here (as many others have, as well).
She’s just started.
Can’t wait to hear where she’ll conquer, next.
