Rila’s Edge ‘Drawn In’ : Riotous gumption. Cheeky playfulness. The subject, rebounds off of their songs, with zest and excitement.

“‘Drawn In’ is about a young mans infatuation with a middle aged woman (a cougar) and the inner conflicts which arise from that situation,” said Rila’s Edge. “The track is our poppiest effort to date and is lead by a big open acoustic guitar riff and a pumping 4 to the floor rhythm.”

The group has been writing and honing their craft throughout the years performing sold-out shows at The Camden Assembly, Tooting Tram and Social, The Boileroom and more. With guidance from a number of mentors including former ‘Prodigy’ member Keiron Pepper, the group will be releasing a string of unmissable singles throughout 2020.

Two lifelong friends Alfie Harris and Charlie Kennedy met Ollie Hedin. The trio from then on, was on a mission for music. George “One Take” Maclean and “Indie Prince” Jacob Green became the last pieces of the puzzle which aided further exploration of musical pathways, thickened their live sound and moulded them into the band they are today.

Riotous gumption built around a cheeky playfulness, the subject, rebounds off of their songs, with zest and excitement.

The response we had for our first two singles and more recently our cover of 'In The Morning' has blown us away, so thanks for everyone sharing with their friends and family. With rehearsal studios beginning to open back up we're itching to get back together as a band and continue writing and preparing a killer setlist to perform to you all live, whenever that may be. A big thanks to Max Smith and Jordan Timmz Timms at Numen Studios for mixing and mastering this track, we truly loved every second of the process, and also to Carlos De Los Santos for his creative input.
