Robert Chaney ‘Before I Go’ : A reminder of reminding, of how we exist and maybe falter so feverishly in our own private wilderness of living.

Robert Chaney

“This is that 4am energy, when you’re hanging with someone special and you don’t know which way it’s gonna go,” stated Robert Chaney. “When you want it to go one way in particular but you’re not quite sure how to say so. For all my fellow shy ones.”

Robert Chaney is an American musician living in London. His 2015 album ‘Cracked Picture Frames’ received numerous accolades in the UK music press for its dramatic songwriting. He is the co-host of Definitely Dylan (@defdylan) a weekly radio program on London’s Resonance 104.4FM exploring the work of Bob Dylan in a modern context.

‘Before I Go’ is from edge to edge, and blade to blade, a succulent exercise of Americana that is built on Bob Dylan’s wilderness. The sophistry, glances with chamomile soothings, as the soft and lively vocal expressions of Robert’s dances the accepting volume of life’s little charms. A reminder of reminding, of how we exist and maybe falter so feverishly in our own private wilderness of living.

‘Before I Go’ follows Robert’s 2017 full album ‘Cracked Picture Frames’.
