ROBYN: After Many Years Of Collaborations, She Returns Again With Solo Album ‘Honey’.

Synthy, dancy, soaring, balladic – some of the thoughts that come to mind when listening to ROBYN’s offerings. And in her latest album, after 8 years of hiatus, we can enjoy her melodic and distinctive vocals, once again, unfettered, in full effect. The 9 song extravaganza depicts love, innocence, ignorance, emotional limits, unrequited love, and everything between. But there’s one thing that is different from any other. And that is the way Robyn tells her side of the story, as she often does.

‘Honey’ is her 8th solo album, following her last solo album ‘Body Talk’ in 2010. The album features contributions from artists: Kindness, Metronomy’s Joseph Mount, Zhala, Klas Åhlund, and Tophat. Robyn has been in the spotlight in between her solo albums with a plethora of collaborations, including the more recent and notable one she did with Röyksopp’s ‘Monument’.

The album is a delight to listen to, for it continues her thread of experimentation, danceability, and philosophy on what music should be.

So, take our CHF hands and lets dance with Robyn.
