Rubaiyat

Matt Camgros, Ian Earley and Joel Heinrich comes at you with ‘Drive’. The band also lunches delightfully with words and tones, pastel and present in this charming music video.

Rubaiyat is a three-Piece doom wop/indie rock band based out of Los Angeles, CA. In April 2018 songwriter Joel Heinrich assembled his friends to sing off-kilter songs that take a darkly honest look at his brushes with love.

Success ensued.

Rubaiyat’s music captures the inevitable dichotomy present in romantic love; sonically embodying, through dissonance and harmony, the conflict and confusion of finding love when it seems impossible and the discord between the bliss of romance and the dread of a life without meaning.

With wavy timbre and prophetically current, the band writhes in the hinges of life, and tantamount urges of survival on this planet.
