Once upon a time, not too long ago, Sam Lambeth, thought he’d done enough of making music. With a heavy heart and a dwindling energy in passion, Sam wanted to accept his creative fate. But a spark happened within Sam again, and now, he’s writing like he’d never written before.
Said Sam: “I believe anyone who has had their heart broken, in what ever way, will find resonance in ‘When Love Ain’t Enough’. It’s a song from my own personal experiences – it had to be – but those themes of trying your hardest and falling short, vying for someone’s hand amongst many suitors, and the painful slip from lover to friend are emotions many of us have been through.”
Life is a rollercoaster, and sometimes intertwines in a kind of revelry that only the most private of thoughts can understand.
Sam’s journey was through some dark spaces. But he’d never let that last strand of desire separate him and the music that was still within.
‘When Love Ain’t Enough’ is an anthem for us all.
It’s a mess sometimes. But through it all, we win some and lose some.
At the end of the day, you are who you are – so let’s dig in.
