Sanctuary Lakes Shares ‘Until the End’.

SANCTUARY LAKES is made up of duo, Tim Hoey (Cut Copy) and Andrew Szekeres (Midnight Juggernauts). And off of their debut self-titled album (available now), they share the single ‘Until The End’. The single is a subterfuge of understated statements in interpretations and suppositions, knowing of the unknown, in light of a faint gray.

The soundscape built around the single is the significant factor to take note of. The shimmer of overarching haze, cast around the glowing mangroves of harshness and delight, ‘Until The End’ manipulates the environment in a tantric commotion.

Tim began this project by starting feedback sessions with his longtime friend, Andrew. The collaboration kept on, as the urge to add layers upon layers to the story telling through the songs, moved further forward.

The poetic resistance is felt in the folds of the representations. The balance of dark and reminisce, captures the essence in a subtle and nuance way. A jam session in gaze, with prolonged structure and surprising 90degree iridescence, ‘Until The End’ is surely a fabulous start to this endurance.
