Sarpa Salpa Shares ‘Before It Goes Dark’. “Can’t stop it. So, let’s dance.”

Fun, ecstatic, convivial, so very happenin’ – the boys from Northamton UK play it up for all of us through their latest single ‘Before It Goes Dark’.

The 4 piece alt-pop band is formed with George (Guitar), Marcus (Vox / Guitar), Ethan (Bass) & Charlie (Drums), and have been working hard to get their debut EP out by the end of this year.

Good thing.

Because their work, like ‘Before It Goes Dark’ is a point towards the shimmer and effervescence of guitar pop in the past 5-8 years, but brings with it a style that is very much SARPA SALPA. Upbeat and naughty, the danceable track, is forthcoming in its ambitions and ambience, telling all of us of the kind of fun that they bring to your next live concert.

‘Before It Goes Dark’ is about the inevitability of things to come – and the helplessness that comes with not being able to stop its progress.

Dark? Yes.

But dance to it we shall, because if things are ‘inevitable’ let’s have some fun, in the process, eh?

See them next at Bedford Esquires on August in Bedford, Bedfordshire UK.
