Danish indie-pop duo, made up of Astrid Cordes and Simon Kjeldgaard, SHY SHY SHY brings the voice from memories of now and forever, with ‘Neon’.
As always, Astrid’s radiating vocals, understated and collected, shines through and around the malaise of a certain love story, framed in naked guitars and sparkling delights.
With past singles appearing on the show Doggystyle, the duo are back with the latest EP ‘Gloss’, which was released just in the past month. And from it comes the single ‘Neon’ with a visual that is fittingly Shy Shy Shy, and so very delicious.
The story of ‘Neon’ is of “meeting someone whom you’d previously grown apart from’. The slow and methodical single is heavy on the bass, and synth, to drive that system of awkwardness from such scenario, home and on point.
It’s a fab single, with fab visuals.
