SLANT ‘Haircut’ : Quintet doing their damn-dest to entertain with their band, life is a bit better and more cooler.

SLANT

It’s a big deal. Especially in this day and age. From the isolation of this stay-at-home, it’s about this time, when getting that ‘normal’ hair cut from your barber slowly but surely become a big part of your daily mind noise of subject.

“Dang. My hair volume is huge”… “Dang. It’s been 4 months?!”

Electric clippers. Hair thinning shears and scissors. YouTube tutor videos. Butchered, at-home, attempts. It all just culminates into a blob of DIY, that is charming during a pandemic.

First world problems, right?

‘Haircut’ isn’t a commentary to such a current situation, but it’s just a fab and fun amenity to the human condition of right-now. And with the help of the quintet doing their damn-dest to entertain with their band, life is a bit better and more cooler.

Combining pop sensibilities with a deliciously sweet feminine vocal, the gals and boys, rock out. With attitude and teasing aesthetics, ‘Haircut’ makes the ‘cut’ for us all.

Slant are a female-fronted band, drawing glam-rock back out of the ether and merging it with a riot-grrrl energy. Fronted by Katy Smith and Frankie Stanley, with Luke Norman (Guitar), James Virtue (Bass) and Aurora Bennett (Drums), the self-confessed attention-seekers expect nothing less than the limelight.

Let’s have some fun with the gang, shall we?

Now. Which hair style to DIY??
