SLEAFORD MODS Shares Very Sticky Single ‘Stick In A Five And Go’ Off Of New Self-Titled EP.

SLEAFORD MODS will drop on September 14th, their latest and newest self-titled EP. This will be the first new music produced and disseminated by the band, since their ‘English Tapas’ album of the past year.

‘Stick In A Five And Go’ is in the line of the band’s style of stating the everyday actions, with some fabulous bass inquisitions, for our little ears to absorb and digest. The chanting of the chorus in this particular single is like a ‘relaxing vigil at the side of a babbling brook’ which you’d see at the hills of the forest.

But that forest is only in your mind and it’s somewhere downtown.

Anywho, they are to play two nights at London’s Roundhouse on September 21st & 22nd and at Nottingham’s Concert Hall on September 30th.

“The lead tracks are mostly full of violent tendencies that only transpire through imagination. People are powerless under the political monster and the intense anger and frustration morphs into illusions of attacking each other through the bravado of social media, depression and paranoia.”
