Jazzy, chamber, earthy, warming. These are descriptions that perpetuate the Slipped off Silk’s sing’e ‘San Francisco’s Calling’ and its offering vibes.
Slipped off Silk, based out of Northville, Michigan, is the solo-project of singer/songwriter Jonathan Martin. And with it he wields the power to survive, thrive, and pump love and affection back into our cynical existence.
Misery loves company. But when the sunlight shines again in your vicinity, you must grab it like it’s a fighting bull.
Let’s love, with the sweet sounds of ‘San Francisco’s Calling’.

“San Francisco’s Calling” is out EVERYWHERE!! Link in bio! Scroll down for mini story time! This one (as you’ll see from the title!) was inspired lyrically by one of my favorite tracks EVER “San Francisco” by @themowglis !! I remember hearing the song for the first time before high school. I was watching music videos on TV, as I tend to do, and was struck by the love and positivity that radiated from the song. I hope some of that positivity can be found within “San Francisco’s Calling”!
