Blocktreat

Brandon Hoffman is the man behind the solo project of Blocktreat. A surveying vision for informative and introspective vibes, the vehicle of feelz and indubitably salient singles, treat you into believing. And that treat is delicious from any angle.

“This song came out after a typically messy start to a new relationship,” said Brandon. “There were lingering feelings from past romances that made for an emotional minefield to navigate. It came at a time that I needed to convince myself that I had done nothing wrong. Maybe mistakes were made; maybe feelings were hurt. What else could we have done?”

Indeed.

Blocktreat has been on the scene for a long time, with waves of singles and collections. The fans dig the dipping scarcities of the songs, emblazoned with the sheen of life’s inevitabilities and acceptance that will – and – must occur.

The bumps and potholes during the gainful drive up life’s pathways, deliver in a delightful charm of Blocktreat’s empathetic guitar play and vocal acumen. A changing of seasons, are arched within the lyrics, some unavoidably realistic, in their nature for description. A palpable grievance that is sometimes without tear nor ire, Blocktreat’s continued desire for the truth is embedded within the treads.

The journey continues, and we’re glad.

His latest LP ‘After Dark’ is available now.
