Song Of The Day! Carré ‘Freeform’ : Dynamic. Alternative. Profound. Visceral – from ambient hesitations and provocative rhythms of vibes.

Carré

“The journey matters as much as the destination – abstraction and interpretation are key…”

Carré’s ‘Freeform’ is a blend of French Touch Electronic with heavy Anglo Saxon rock and Industrial influence. Julien Boyé (drums, percussion, vocals), Jules de Gasperis (drums, vocals, synths, production and mixing) and Keveen Baudouin (guitars, vocals, synth and production) brings electronica and experimental pop to a new forefront and then some.

Aggressive electric chaos that reveals itself – taking you on a wild techno journey – pushing boundaries and redefining the limits of electronic music with this hypnotics.

Created by its three members in 2019, Jules said: “The making of our band started with this whole idea of having two drummers perform together. It felt like a statement. We always wanted to keep people moving and tend to focus on the beats first when we write”.

Dynamic. Alternative. Profound. Visceral – from ambient hesitations and provocative rhythms of vibes, break down and then build back up to a crescendo of steaming hot lavas of colors in unending desires.

Added Carré: “There’s something about not getting attached to the form, when you step back and disengage yourself from the form, you become in touch with something more pure and spiritual, while remaining in the square.”

Word.

Carré’s ‘Freeform’ is grandeur in ecstasy.

Their self titled EP is out now.
