Song Of The Day! Early Humans ‘Tentacles’ : Lost and loved. In another time. Of our times.

Early Humans

Early Humans is an indie-rock band from Nashville, Tennessee. Following their fabulous 2017 self titled album, they continue to bring delicate indie into the world new and old fans. The charming single ‘Tentacles’, is a song of the lost and loved.

Once upon a time, there was the land of milk-and-honey. At least you’d believe it to be and it was natural as you’d met the person of your dreams. But upon a past future, it all crumbled in that iota of time and space. Your guilt of being part, and the guilt for letting it go this far, never really faded. Will things be different? Will it just have to be accepted?

The band delivers unpretentious songwriting, addictive hooks, and a tasteful palette of pop rock from the 90’s and 2000’s, to be sure. Grouplove, Death Cab For Cutie, Say Anything, Built to Spill, Wilco, or The Shins; with an outright ring of the Goo Goo Dolls and Gin Blossoms, the band rocks out to its own mix of fabulous strums and musical notions.

“Early Humans started off playing Disney covers on portable pipe organs in rural areas,” said the band. “Now they play Disney covers on different instruments in less rural areas.”

Right attitudes, meet right talented passions.

Formed by songwriters Hart Williams and Ryan Vaniman, with a hand from other talented musicians from their local scene, the band share a passion of independently writing and recording their own music.
