HELENOR is the project name of David DiAngelis. He’s a unique cat, as some would say. And in ‘Ocean State’ (a dream-pop/shoegaze exercise) David’s ‘demonic’ episodes in subtle preludes and understated breathy raucous – with impunity – slaps this kind of thick and oil-painting-like layer of dissonance, we think we understand.
By divine design?
If the billboards say so.
David’s upcoming debut LP was ‘Something Twice’ which was written and recorded at his home in 2017. Contributors to his project included: Seth Kasper (Mass Gothic, Christopher Owens, Hooray for Earth, Wild Light, Air Traffic Controller) on drums and who also co-produced the album.
“Something Twice” will drop sometime in Autumn of 2018.
