Song Of The Day! Lawson ‘Animals’ (Video) : Effervescent single asks the right questions and delivers.

Lawson

80s flavored power-pop is where Lawson’s single ‘Animals’, live and breathe. The infectious offering makes deliberate and immediate impressions and it makes you just want to dance. The stresses of the day-to-day won’t get in the way again, as the effervescent single asks the right questions and delivers.

In the playful, tongue-in-cheek video (directed by the bands very own Adam Pitts), Lawson adds a fresh fun factor to the wonderfully fun track.

“With ‘Animals’ we wanted to do the complete opposite. We’ve never taken ourselves too seriously, so it didn’t take me long to convince the rest of the guys that we should simply dress up as animals and learn a dance routine. After all, we’re probably only going to release a song called ‘Animals’ once.”

Ever wanted to see frontman Andy Brown dressed as a llama? Or Ryan Fletcher singing backing vocals in a mandrill suit? Add a light-hearted synchronized dance routine and a sensational celebrity cameo from ‘Eastenders’ legend Shaun Williamson, and you have one of 2020’s most engaging music videos.

This is off the back of their parody music documentary ‘Lawson – Where Are They Now?’, which featured appearances from Robbie Williams, Rick Astley and Scott Mills – and has had over 100k views.

Lawson is Andy Brown, Ryan Fletcher, Joel Peat and Adam Pitts.
