Song Of The Day! Luna Li ‘Trying’ : Completeness of the bitter. The sweet. The enigmatically beautiful.

Frightfully talented Luna Li is beautiful to contend and contrast in your heart. A booming consolation of emotions blast over blooms of flowering assumptions in ‘Trying’.

A strong female presence in the indie rock music world, Luna Li (Hannah Bussiere) is unabashedly herself. With over 14 years of classical piano and violin training, Luna has a unique musical sensibility. The last year has seen Luna Li support Born Ruffians and Hollerado on their Ontario tour dates.

The last year has seen Luna Li support Born Ruffians and Hollerado on their Ontario tour dates, as well as sets at MattyFest (Wu-Tang Clan, The Descendants), River & Sky (U.S. Girls, Fucked Up), Crystal Lake (Orville Peck), NXNE (Dizzy) and many more. Look out for new music in 2020.

What Luna Li brings is a complex exercise of unattainable and granular tones, unfettered and undeniably diligent. A section of heart is enveloped in this ooey-gooey substance of content, that which is offered by a riveting assertion in Luna Li’s lyrical bind.

The sky is the limit, when you look up. The clouds of render, cast no shadows. You’re free to fly, if you’d like.

And maybe, Luna Li’s songs will help you get there.

The band is Hannah Bussiere, Charise Aragoza, Hallie Switzer and Braden Sauder.
