“The is the debut single off our EP ‘6ft Apart’. We created this trio by accident during the lockdown since we are housemates + neighbor. The music video for the single was shot on a DVX100 and will be released mid-June.”
New boy band from Echo Park, Los Angeles are 2 roommates plus a neighbor who have decided to create new music during the lockdown. Members are: Tiger [the joker] – Loves mezcal and writing verses in the bathroom. Currently over the cat-per-capita legal limit and seeking a Fancy Feast sponsorship. Tom [the deep one] – Just learned how to make better sandwiches. Enjoys biking uphill and as a child was worried Pee Wee Herman would steal his bicycle; and, Keenan [the rebel] – Former full-time valet. Insatiable appetite. Has the face of an angel and can name all of the states by visualizing them on a map in his mind.
With a mix of Sophie B. Hawkins-like pop, charmed with a Chromeo-esque shimmer, and a Bruce Hornsby piano additive, ‘Morning Light (You Can’t Break My Heart Twice)’ delights with the chill and excellence that beams in P.M. Dawn-like rap, and then some.
The fun from this song is complete and oh so good.
If the future of ‘boy-bands’ are like Sandy Hawkins, then we’re in.
